So it’s the night before I leave for Europe and I’d have to say I’m just a tiny bit excited. I don’t think the fact that I won’t be working for the next 4 weeks has hit me yet. I still have a 100 things running through my mind – will that EDM go out in time, who’s going to upload the online collateral to our website, have I briefed Jeerish thoroughly enough, will that designer accept the job offer??????????? However somehow I think once I hit European soil all those worries will fade away.
After what was a pretty stressful last day at work I was glad to unwind with some pub grub and a few beers at the trusty old Coach and Horses, the Eastern Suburbs best local pub!! Thanks to Dukes and Milburn for the farewell dinner, was great to catch up and chat about all things travel, special thanks to Aaron for his hot tip ‘Seat Guru‘ by Trip advisor, how have I not known about this earlier? I was able to pick the best seat on my flight back from London, fingers crossed the seat next to me is available for Glenn :/
Just chilling at home now with a glass of Amaretto on ice (don’t mind if I do) and waiting for this night to roll on so it can be morning. First stop London for some shopping and catching up with friends, then on to Amsterdam for some smokey cafes, Paris for romance, Barcelona for Glenn, the French Riviera for glitz and glamour and finally the motherland Italy (Sardinia) to bring me back to my roots. I’ll be sure to keep you all posted, see you on the other side and stay tuned.
Love to all xx
